Meetings, physical or virtual, constitute the
main business of the ISAC. Some ISACs might find it suitable
and most efficient to exchange data and information online in a
more transactional manner, whereas most ISACs gather their
members in face-to-face meetings. For general meetings focusing
on discussion, onsite meetings are the most efficient form of
interacting and sharing information. The choice of location
depends on the ISAC preferences, as members might rotate and
take turns hosting meetings, while other ISACs might gather at
the facilitator's site, which could be e.g. at the public body
headquarters. Also, for the sake of building personal trust,
face-to-face meetings are vital. For security reasons, some
topics might also be necessary to cover face-to-face, as the
most confidential and sensitive information should be kept
within the room only.
