The annual plan

10

As an ISAC is developing, organisers may want to initiate other activities and produce outputs such as white papers, threat analyses and trainings. At that point organisers should describe goals, activities and deliverables in an annual plan. This plan collects all the topics and activities for the coming year, describes when and how to perform them and when they are due. The plan may also be used to distribute topics to cover throughout the year. This plan could be jointly prepared, e.g. during the first meeting of the year, during which members can suggest and prioritize relevant topics, activities and deliverables. The item then needs to be assigned to one or several members. Members in charge make sure the particular item is managed according to plan. The annual plan should be reviewed regularly and adapted if needed.
