If ISACs have the resources and support from the members, they will be able to organize educational workshops or webinars in different forms. These workshops could be organized in close collaboration with external stakeholders, such as governmental agencies, authorities or other key players in the sector. Workshops usually focus on one or a few topics that are presented and demonstrated by an expert in the particular field. The subject might also be presented and discussed in a panel discussion consisting of several experts. Participants are then usually involved in varying degrees, e.g. in discussions or in assigned tasks that they are required to solve. Workshops and webinars might focus on e.g. new threats in the industry, mitigation processes during a potential attack or just raising awareness about certain subjects.
