ENISA Validation Workshop – Effective models for NIS Startups
ENISA is conducting a study to identify the challenges and opportunities for EU start-ups in Network and Information Security and to promote the creation of an environment (from a market and from a policy perspective) which will allow innovative ideas in NIS to be nurtured within the EU market. To validate the findings and recommendations of the study, ENISA is organising a work meeting with stakeholders from the industry and the policy making sides. The meeting will take place in Brussels, on the 10th of November from 9:30 to 16:00 and will be hosted by the European Commission.

ENISA is working on a study with the objectives of understanding the start-up landscape from a technological and market perspective, gaining insight into the investment and funding channels available for NIS start-ups and building knowledge of the opportunities for growth of the EU NIS start-up. The output of this study comprises recommendations that aim at promoting the creation of an environment (from a market and from a policy perspective) which will allow innovative ideas in NIS to be nurtured within the EU market
To validate the findings and recommendations of the study, ENISA is organising a validation workshop with industry representatives and Policy makers. The meeting will take place in Brussels, on the 10th of November from 9:30 to 16:00. The workshop is hosted by the European Commission and the workshop agenda additionally includes presentations from selected industry representatives from both the start-up and the funding side.
