The COVID-19 pandemic has drawn attention to the challenges relating to the cybersecurity of the healthcare sector. The complex healthcare ecosystem can easily be jeopardised by cybercrime, malicious actors, phishing campaigns or ransomware attacks. Medical data and systems have become a major target of cybercrime. The eHealth Security Conference will allow for fruitful discussions on essential cybersecurity topics for the Health sector and pave the way towards an enhanced cybersecurity posture in the sector's organisations.

The event will focus on the aspects related to the implementation of the NIS Directive for the Healthcare sector, and will highlight NIS2 and other eHealth policy developments.

In the same context, the Conference will include sessions dedicated to the constantly changing Threat Landscape and the evolving Ransomware issues, as well as to supply chain topics - inviting experts from different Member States to state their expertise in these topics.
