The Digital Single Market (DSM) will lead all types of business to “become connected” and ensure a single market for connected services across the EU. This interconnectivity increases the threats for sectors of activity which have little to no experience in security.
Network and Information Security (NIS) Products and Services provide solutions to enhance the level of security. NIS Products and Services can take several forms (software, hardware, information exchange…).
The purpose of this working meeting is to discuss around the current usage and limitations of NIS Products and Services in five sectors of activities:
- Online banking
- Online market places
- Cloud storage
- Wireless telecommunications equipment: manufacturers and main customers (service providers)
- Online media services, in particular video streaming platforms
- Suppliers of NIS Products and Services
The objective is to propose recommendations to improve the market growth for NIS Products and Services produced by EU companies, by leveraging the opportunities offered by the Digital Single Market. In this regard, ENISA considers that security can be a key differentiator for the EU and will continue
The meeting will take place the 2nd of June 2016 at the INHESJ in Paris, France.
Due to the limited amount of seats (25 participants), participants are strongly encouraged to register.
