On 21 December 2020, 14:00 - 16:00 CET, BEREC together with ENISA will hold a workshop "5G cybersecurity toolbox developments and way(s) forward” via web-streaming.

The goal of this workshop is to discuss openly the 5G toolbox implementation measures with key representatives and experts from telecom operators and EU Member States national authorities operating in the EU Digital Single Market, that have been directly involved in implementing the toolbox.

The event will be opened by Dan Sjoblom, Chair of BEREC, and Juhan Lepassaar, Executive Director of ENISA.

The workshop will dive into three areas:

  • EU-wide 5G Cybersecurity toolbox implementation process (EC, DG Connect)
  • Implementation of the 5G Cybersecurity toolbox Technical Measures (ENISA)
  • 5G Cybersecurity toolbox Strategic Measures 5 and 6 – NRAs’ and stakeholders’ views (BEREC)

The last part of the event will be dedicated to moderated discussion with the workshop participants.

This workshop is open to experts, particularly interested in the cybersecurity of 5G networks.

Participants from the EU telecom sector are highly encouraged to join the interactive session in the end. Your active participation will give us valuable feedback on the work done so far at EU level as well as ideas for the future work needed for the 5G toolbox implementation.

The stakeholders are invited to submit questions to the speakers while registering or send them by email to [email protected] before the event.

Deadline for registration is the 18th December 2020.
