ENISA - UNIPI Workshop on Privacy Enhancing Technologies

The digitalisation of several critical and noncritical sectors and the emergence of new technologies require a coherent policy framework on NIS. ENISA and the Department of Digital Systems of University of Piraeus organized a workshop on assessing the need for Privacy Enhancing Technologies in the greater area of NIS. The workshop is aimed towards the research and academic community in an attempt to discuss ongoing initiatives and future directions.

Conference: Towards the EU Cybersecurity Certification Framework

ENISA and the European Commission organized the 3rd conference on the preparations of the EU Cybersecurity Certification Framework.

4th eHealth Security conference

ENISA is organising the 4th eHealth Security conference in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, on the 14th of November.

7th ENISA/EC3 Workshop

The 7th ENISA/EC3 Workshop will serve as a planned follow up event to the previous ENISA/EC3 workshop held in 2017. While this workshop will retain the scope of cooperation between national/governmental CSIRTs in Europe and their national Law Enforcement counterparts, aspects of the cooperation with judiciary authorities will also be discussed.

European Cyber Security Month 2018

Annual Privacy Forum 2018

The recalibrated legal framework in the EU as manifested by the promulgation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is key in an effort to better control the processing of personal data. Additionally, the forthcoming Regulation on Privacy and Electronic Communications is expected to give new impetus to the way privacy is protected in electronic communications. In the light of those regulations, DG CONNECT, ENISA, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and Telefónica are organizing APF 2018.

ENISA training on aviation cybersecurity co-organized with EASA

EASA, European Aviation Safety Agency, in collaboration with ENISA, European Union Agency for Network and Information Security, will host the first ENISA training on cybersecurity in aviation on the 20th and 21st of November in Brussels.

3rd eHealth Security Conference

ENISA is organising a workshop on eHealth Security together with the Portuguese Ministry of Health, Shared Services Directorate, that will be held on the 15th of November in Lisbon.

ENISA Validation Workshop – Effective models for NIS Startups

ENISA is conducting a study to identify the challenges and opportunities for EU start-ups in Network and Information Security and to promote the creation of an environment (from a market and from a policy perspective) which will allow innovative ideas in NIS to be nurtured within the EU market. To validate the findings and recommendations of the study, ENISA is organising a work meeting with stakeholders from the industry and the policy making sides. The meeting will take place in Brussels, on the 10th of November from 9:30 to 16:00 and will be hosted by the European Commission.

CTI – EU | Bonding EU Cyber Threat Intelligence

The event will cover the subject of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and is named CTI-EU. It will be organized by ENISA with the support of various EU services. DG-Connect/H1 and EC3 have already confirmed their support while the goal is to have the support of more EU bodies before the event.
