CRA SRP guidance - AR Interface functions

This section explains the AR's interface of the SRP for various functions that can be performed.

Note: AR users can access the Dashboard only after successfully logging in and while their SRP user status is “Active”, subject to applicable role and association restrictions.

View Personal and Update Manufacturer Details through Settings

Purpose: Follow these steps to view your personal details or update the details of a manufacturer.

Pre-conditions: Your user status is “Active”, and you are logged in to the SRP.

Steps

  • Open the Dashboard and click on your profile name. The profile drop-down menu opens.
  • Click on the Settings menu. You can now view personal details or update manufacturer details by following the same steps used during the registration flow.

Manufacturer details: 

Invite Secondary AR (Primary AR only)

Purpose: Follow these steps, as the Primary AR, to invite a Secondary AR  for the same manufacturer to register on the SRP.

Pre-conditions:

  • Your user status is “Active” and you are logged in to the SRP.
  • You have an “AR User Primary” role for the specific manufacturer.
  • The invitee’s email address is not already registered in the SRP.

Steps

  • Access the Settings section and select the option to add a Secondary AR for the manufacturer you represent.
  • Enter the email address of the new Secondary AR and click “Send Invitation”.

Expected result: An email is sent to the Primary AR, who instructs the Secondary AR to complete registration. A new user record is created in the SRP, containing only the specified email address and the corresponding manufacturer details. The record is assigned the status “Pending Invitation”, with no user role yet assigned.

Add an Association with an Additional Manufacturer Association through Settings

Purpose: Follow these steps to associate your AR account with an additional manufacturer.

Pre-conditions: Your user status is “Active" and you are logged in to the SRP.

Steps

  • Open the Dashboard and click on your profile name. The profile drop-down menu opens. Click on the Settings menu.
  • Click on “Association Management” and then click “Add Manufacturer”.
  • Enter the required details for the new manufacturer and click on “Save”.

A pop-up confirms that the manufacturer has been successfully created and associated with your account.

Exceptions: If you omit mandatory manufacturer details (Manufacturer Name), the SRP will return an error and the “Continue” button will remain disabled.

Expected result: The manufacturer is created and the association between the AR and the manufacturer is created in the SRP with the status “Unverified”. A request to verify the AR-manufacturer association is created for review and approval by the CSIRT User or CSIRT Admin from the selected CSIRT Designated as Coordinator (CDaC). The SRP sends you an email confirming submission of the association request. As unverified AR you can submit only up to 10 notifications.

Claim Primary AR Role as a Secondary AR

Purpose: Follow these steps as a Secondary AR to request to become a Primary AR..

Preconditions:

  • You are a Secondary AR associated with a manufacturer.
  • Your user status is “Active”, and you are logged in to the SRP.

Steps

  • Access the Dashboard and click on your profile name. The profile drop-down menu opens.
  • Click on the Settings menu
  • Select the option to claim the Primary AR role for the manufacturer.

A pop-up appears confirming the request.
  
The request is created and sent to the CSIRT Designated as Coordinator (CDaC).

Expected result: The request is created and sent to the designated CDaC for review.

Delete AR – Manufacturer Association 

Purpose: Follow these steps to manage the association of the Primary or Secondary AR Users with one or more manufacturer(s).

Preconditions

  • Your user status is “Active” and are logged in to the SRP.
  • You have a valid account with EU Login and are able to successfully authenticate.
  • The association between the AR and the manufacturer has been verified.

Steps:

  • Navigate to the AR Association management page of the SRP.  

As a Primary AR, you can remove your own association or that of a Secondary AR.

As a Secondary AR, you can remove your own association.

  • Click “Remove Association” and confirm the action.

Expected result: The system removes the AR Association and its status is updated to “Deleted”.

Dashboard

Purpose: Follow these steps to access the Dashboard, view, search, sort, and filter notifications, and access notification details.

Yo can access the Dashboard by:

  • opening it directly via a valid URL; or
  • clicking on the Dashboard button.

Precondition:

  • Your user status is “Active”, and you are logged in to the SRP.

View the Dashboard

Purpose: Follow these steps to view the list of notifications accessible to you.

Preconditions: Your user status is “Active” and you are logged in to the SRP.

Steps:

  • Access the Dashboard.

Expected result: You can view the Dashboard and the notifications accessible to the manufacturer associated with you. The Dashboard displays only the draft notifications created by you. You cannot view draft notifications created by another AR associated with the same manufacturer.

Search, Sort & Filter Notifications

Purpose: Follow these steps to search, sort and filter the notifications accessible to you.

The actions that you can perform include:

  • Searching for notifications; 
  • Sorting notification records; and
  • Filtering results based on specific criteria.

Preconditions:

  • Your user status is “Active”.
  • You are logged in to the SRP.
  • At least one notification has previously been submitted or saved as a draft.

Steps

  • Access the Dashboard.
  • You can use the "Search" function with the following criteria: 
    • Notification ID 
    • Manufacturer 
    • Title
  • You can sort by either of the following columns:
    • Title: alphabetical order
    • Last Update: chronological order
  • You can filter notifications by selecting “All filters”
  • You can narrow down the results using one or more of the following criteria:
    • Member States in which the product with digital elements is available
    • Type of submission
  • You can select “Action Required” so that the SRP displays only notifications with a pending action label. 
  • You can select “Clear Filters”, if needed, to remove all applied filters.

Exceptions: In case no results are found, the search returns no results, and the system informs you that no notifications match the search criteria.

Expected result: The results are filtered and/or sorted based on your selections..

View Notification Details

Purpose: Follow these steps to view the details of notifications accessible to you.

Steps

  • Click on a notification to view its details.

Expected result: you can view the notification details.

View Alerts

Purpose: Follow these steps to review alerts generated by the system.

Preconditions:

  • You are registered as a user in the SRP.
  • You have a valid account with EU Login (for AR) and can authenticate successfully.

Steps

  • Open the Alerts tab

Alerts are triggered by an action that requires the attention of the AR user. Light blue alerts are unread. When an alert is opened by clicking “Check notification”, it is automatically marked as “read” (turns grey). Red alerts appear only when an exceptional or critical action has occurred (e.g., a designated CSIRT has invalidated a submission).

Expected result: The selected alert is marked as “Read”, and you can review its details.
