European Cybersecurity Skills Conference 2026

ENISA and the Digital Security Authority (DSA) of Cyprus are pleased to announce the 4^th European Cybersecurity Skills Conference, to be held in Larnaca, Cyprus, on 4–5 November 2026.

Uniting the full cybersecurity skills ecosystem from across the EU, the conference will serve as a key forum to exchange experiences, address emerging challenges, and showcase best practices in cybersecurity skills development.

Key topics will include: 

• European initiatives on skills recognition, including the proposal for the attestation of cybersecurity skills, aimed at strengthening transparency, comparability and trust in cybersecurity competences, while supporting professional mobility across the EU;
• The impact of Artificial Intelligence on cybersecurity skills and the workforce, in the context of the EU AI Action Plan;
• The ongoing revision of the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF), addressing the need for alignment with secure digital product lifecycles, emerging technologies such as AI, and evolving EU policy and legislative developments. The revised framework will also introduce proficiency levels to better support skills definition, career development, training pathways and workforce assessment;

• Strengthening cooperation across the cybersecurity skills ecosystem, bringing together EU institutions, Member States, industry, academia and training providers to address Europe’s evolving cybersecurity skills needs.
