The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA), with the support of the Deutsche Bahn, are pleased to announce the 6th edition of the Cybersecurity in Railways Conference, the event dedicated to exploring the latest advancements, best practices, and challenges in railway cybersecurity.

The 2027 edition, which will take place in Berlin, Germany, on 22-23 March, will bring together cybersecurity professionals, researchers, industry experts, government officials and practitioners to exchange knowledge, insights and experiences.

This event continues the close collaboration between ERA and ENISA on cybersecurity in the railway domain. Once again, the conference location brings the event closer to the implementation of railway cybersecurity projects. The support of Deutsche Bahn reflects the ongoing effort to address the priorities and challenges of the local and European rail cybersecurity community.

The topics of this joint event, organised in coordination with the European Commission, will cover:

  • Opening session highlighting regional challenges and initiatives;
  • Cybersecurity policy follow-up: NIS2 and CRA implementation in the railway sector;
  • Capacity building and training for the railway sector;
  • Feedback from railway cybersecurity projects, including national implementations and sector-wide initiatives;

As every year, the conference will continue to provide valuable networking opportunities aimed at strengthening the railway cybersecurity community. Speakers and participants will share insights on the latest developments and raise awareness among railway stakeholders of cybersecurity risks and mitigation measures.

ENISA, ERA  and Deutsche Bahn look forward to welcoming you to Berlin !
