2nd Cybersecurity Awareness Raising Conference - Empowering the Human Element

Back to Events

ENISA is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of its Cybersecurity Awareness Raising Conference “Empowering the Human Element”.

Following the success of ENISA’s first Awareness Raising Conference held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 27 November 2024, the second edition will continue to explore and strengthen the human dimension of cybersecurity communication.

Hosted in Zagreb, in collaboration with the Croatian Academic and Research Network, and partners Croatian Institute for Cybersecurity and University Center for Cybersecurity at the University North , the event aims to build on and expand the outcomes of the first edition, helping make cybersecurity awareness more accessible, actionable, and impactful across Europe.

This year’s conference will take a forward-looking approach by focusing on three pivotal themes:

  1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Awareness Raising
  2. Measuring the Impact of Awareness Raising Activities
  3. Gamification in Awareness Raising

The conference will explore how emerging technologies, robust evaluation metrics, and innovative engagement methods can elevate cybersecurity awareness efforts across Europe.

Participants will gain insight into how AI can personalise learning experiences, how to effectively assess the real-world impact of campaigns, and how gamified strategies can sustain user engagement and behavioural change.

The programme will feature keynote addresses from European thought leaders, interactive panel discussions with practitioners, and practical examples for skill-building. Demonstrations of ENISA tools such as “AR-in-a-Box” will highlight their adaptability to these evolving themes.
