NETWORK AND INFORMATION SECURITY EXPERT

The Core Operations Department (COD) of ENISA is looking for recruiting NIS Experts in the field of Network and Information Security (NIS) in particular for working in:

  • Secure Infrastructure and Services Unit,
  • Data Security and Standardization Unit,
  • Operational Security Unit,
  • CSIRT relations Team,
  • Horizontal Support & Analysis Team.

The jobholder will be assigned to one of these units or teams of this Department. She/he must have the ability to take ownership of tasks and work as a team member contributing to more than one of the areas of the ENISA work program.

NETWORK AND INFORMATION SECURITY EXPERT

The NIS Expert reports to the CSIRT Relations Team (CR) within the Core Operations Department (COD).

The jobholder will be assigned to the CSIRT Relations team in this Department, however the expert in Network and Information Security must have the ability and willingness to contribute to more than one of the areas of the ENISA work program when required. Allocation of tasks is based on an internal work plan developed by the Agency.

He/she manages projects, advises on and coordinates ENISA activities, which are assigned to the CR team in order to achieve the Operational objectives of the Agency within the context of incident response and security teams’ cooperation.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICER

The Public Affairs Officer will be part of the Public Affairs Team (PAT). The team is in charge of implementing a comprehensive and effective Communication Strategy in line with the public affairs objectives and goals of the Agency, drafting and translating technical content into intelligible messages for external audiences and engaging with key stakeholders through events, traditional channels and social media. The PAT should also focus on improving the brand reputation of the Agency through engaging with the media in a timely and accurate manner.

The selected candidate will work closely as part of the PAT Team and collaborate strongly with colleagues in the two Departments. The Public Affairs Officer will contribute to further develop and advocate strategy and content that help enhance ENISA’s reputation across the EU while bringing positive impact on its communications activities and its stakeholder’s relations.
