EU MS Incident Response Development status report

As part of its effort to support EU Member States in their Incident Response (IR) development, ENISA would like to conduct a study on Incident Response development status within EU Member States. Since implementation of the NIS Directive brings new changes to the way CSIRTs IR and there have been studies focusing on national and governmental CSIRTs, the particular target of the study should be sectoral CSIRTs and IR within sectors defined by the NIS Directive.

The data provided by the study shall be presented to ENISA and it will be used to:

-          Give an overview of the IR development within specific sectors;

-          Identify current status of procedures and tools used by sectoral CSIRTs for IR;

-          Identify existing gaps in IR activities within sectors defined by the NIS Directive.

 All of this should help ENISA to further assist EU Member States in development of IR capabilities in Europe.
