Role

ENISA has set up a network of National Liaison Officers (NLOs). Although not formally based on the ENISA Regulation, this network is of great value to ENISA, as the NLOs serve as ENISA’s important point of reference into the Member States on specific issues. ENISA also gains access to a network of national contacts through individual NLOs, reinforcing the activity of the Agency in the Member States.

Based upon input from the NLOs, ENISA informs stakeholders of useful NIS contacts and activities in the Member States through compiling and updating Country Reports and the Who-is-Who Directory on NIS on its website.

The NLOs also play an important role in developing ENISA NIS Good Practice Brokerage activities.
