Organise social events

5

As for any other kind of relationship, social activities and informal interaction between the members is vital for building trust. This should really not be underestimated. Many ISAC meetings always start with more relaxed networking sessions, like ice-breaker events, giving members a chance to catch up and introduce new members. Beyond coffee breaks and joint lunches, social events are worth investing in. This could be a dinner following a social activity like a sight-seeing tour, a visit to a relevant facility, a group exercise etc. Such informal ways of interacting build up team spirit and foster commitment and trust to grow.

Outcome:

  • Activity – Social meetings
