Meetings usually start with some opening remarks e.g. form the chairperson, who gives an overview of the agenda, the purpose and desired outcome of the meeting. The chairperson also calls for approval of the previous meeting minutes. The meeting may continue on with facilitated stakeholder dialogues, keynote speakers discussing a certain topic or members working in different groups to produce certain outcome. If organising an open session, this session is where external speakers participate and present. The open session could start or end with a joint coffee or lunch. At the closed session organisers may want to divide the discussions in administrative, strategic and operational discussions. Lunch and coffee breaks are held at regular intervals to keep up the energy and facilitate informal discussions. There should be a break at least once every 1,5 hours.
