    1. Before starting, you need the make sure the programme is relevant to the scope of the Database. A programme is relevant to the purpose of the database if:

    • For a bachelor’s degree: at least 25% of the taught modules are in cybersecurity topics
    • For a master’s degree: at least 40% of the taught modules are in cybersecurity topics
    • For a postgraduate specialization course: at least 40% of the taught modules are in cybersecurity topics
    • For a PhD: the dissertation must be in a cybersecurity topic

    A cybersecurity topic corresponds to any of the topics that might fall within the remit of the knowledge areas of the Cybersecurity Curricula 2017 developed by the Joint Task Force on Cybersecurity Education.

    Based on the information submitted, ENISA might ask further evidence in order to verify the validity of the entries. The submitter will be informed when the validation has been successfully completed and the programme will be listed in the database. The information provided might be used for follow-up analysis regarding cybersecurity education and skills development.

    2. To successfully add your programme, you need to complete all the mandatory fields marked with *. However, we suggest to complete as many fields as possible, as courses will be ranked based on the amount of information provided, i.e. courses with all fields completed appear higher on the list.

    SPECIFIC PRIVACY STATEMENT

    Your personal data shall be processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data. 1

    The data controller of the processing operation is the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA)- Core Operations Department. educationmap@enisa.europa.eu

    The legal basis for the processing operation is Article 5(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 on the basis of Regulation 881/2019 (Cybersecurity Act), especially the provisions establishing the tasks of ENISA.

    The purpose of this processing operation is to collect a list of cybersecurity degrees in EU, EFTA, and other European countries and be the main point of reference for all citizens looking to upskill their knowledge in the cybersecurity. In this respect the personal data of the submitter will be used in order to have an updated information in the database.

    The data processor of this processing operation is EaudeWeb SRL, which provides the hosting of ENISA web site and other relevant services. Also, external contractors who support the maintenance and operation of the cybersecurity higher education database.

    The following personal data are collected: Name, surname and e-mail address of the contact person, as regards a specific education institution (with relevance to cybersecurity).

    The recipients of the data will be designated ENISA staff involved in the processing operation, designated staff of ENISA’s contractors (processors), and bodies charged with monitoring or inspection tasks in application of EU law (e.g. internal audits, European Anti- fraud Office – OLAF).

    Personal data will be kept for as long as an entry (cybersecurity degree) is available in the cybersecurity higher education database.

    You have the right of access to your personal data and to relevant information concerning how we use it. You have the right to rectify your personal data. Under certain conditions, you have the right to ask that we delete your personal data or restrict its use. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time. We will consider your request, take a decision and communicate it to you.
