The paper analyses the anatomy of ‘Online Shopping’, and warns on the risks and threats. It provides different countermeasures and guidelines to consumers in the form of 5 ‘golden rules’ on how to shop safely online. The paper also provides a comprehensive checklist for the online seller on how to operate secure online business.
