The conference has its origins in the conclusions of the last report of RISEPTIS, The Advisory Board of Research and Innovation for Security, Privacy and Trustworthiness in the Information Society. The eSEC, the Spanish Technology Platform for Security, Trust and Dependability of AETIC (Spanish Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications Industries Association), also collaborates in the event.
The ENISA Executive Director, Dr. Udo Helmbrecht will chair Session 4 on Technology development and the EU Legal framework of Data protection and Privacy on 11 February 2010.
