NLO Network

Set up in 2004 as an informal point of reference into the Member States, as of 27 June 2019 the National Liaison Officers network has become a statutory body of ENISA.

The National Liaison Officers Network facilitates the exchange of information between ENISA and the Member States, and supports ENISA in disseminating its activities, findings and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders across the Union.

The Network is composed of representatives of all member states and will be set up by the Management Board in the course of 2019. ENISA is in the process of implementing a new regulatory framework.

In the past, the NLOs also played an important role in developing ENISA NIS Good Practice Brokerage activities. In addition, based on input from the NLOs, ENISA used to inform stakeholders of useful NIS contacts and activities in the Member States through compiling and updating Country Reports and the Who-is-Who Directory on NIS on its website.
