Press Release D source code First EU Cyber Security Exercise 'Cyber Europe 2010’ with >320 ‘incidents’ successfully concluded
The first ever, pan-European cyber security exercise “Cyber Europe 2010” ended successfully yesterday. More than 150 experts from 70 public bodies around Europe participated in the exercise. They were exposed to more than 320 incidents, or ‘injects’. The exercise was a first, key step for strengthening Europe’s cyber defense. The key challenge now is for the Member States to implement the identified ‘lessons-learnt’ during the exercise. The Agency also advocates that all Member States in Europe should consider conducting national exercises as to improve its Critical Information Infrastructure Protection (CIIP).

Report/Study Annual Incident Reports 2016
For the sixth year, ENISA publishes the annual report about significant outage incidents in the European electronic communications sector, which are reported to ENISA and the European Commission under Article 13a of the Framework Directive (2009/140/EC), by the National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) of the different EU Member States. This report covers the incidents that occurred in 2016 and it gives an aggregated analysis of the incident reports about severe outages across the EU.

Press Release D source code EU agency ENISA analyses cyber security legislation & spots implementation gaps; incidents remain undetected or not reported
In a new paper the EU ‘cyber security’ agency ENISA takes a snapshot of existing and future EU legislation on security measures and incident reporting. The analysis underlines important steps forward, but also identifies gaps in national implementation, as most incidents are not reported.

Press Release First annual report of cyber incidents in the EU: 51 severe outages reported over 2011
This year, for the first time in the EU, all Member States have reported on past cyber security incidents to the EU’s ‘cyber security’ agency ENISA and the European Commission. Eleven EU countries reported 51 severe outages of electronic communication networks or services. Today, ENISA publishes the first ever annual report on this, containing an analysis of incidents in 2011.
