Press & Media

Media, communication and outreach.

A fundamental factor to increase the Agency impact is to spread knowledge of its results, studies, reports, Position Papers, etc. An important multiplier to all key stakeholders and the general public is therefore media. Media relations are consequently import to live up to the Agency mission of 'Securing Europe's Information Society', by engaging stakeholders in the debate about Network and Information Security.  Many communications and outreach activities fall into this active approach for increased impact, e.g.  public affairs, video clips, digital communications and web development.

Media

In the Press Corner you can find all press releases, news, and all other key Agency documents, high resolution photos for media, and links to video clips, etc.

Journalists are encouraged to make use of the ENISA website for basic background  information on the organisation and its expert operational activities. Media representatives  are also encouraged to use quotations from the press releases and news items,  and to refer to the findings in the many Expert's reports and studies available on the Agency website. Please be aware that the only valid press release language is English. The others are merely translations (DE/FR/and, occasionally, in IT/ES) for increased accessibilty.

DE/FR/GR

You can find 'landing pages' for German/Frencand Greek speakers, with some basic Agency material and, in particular, the more current material i.e. press releases in DE / ,FRand Greek (EL). Please note these pages are under construction.

For other media questions/urgent media requests, media is welcome to contact the ENISA Spokesman, either directly over the mobile phone, + 30 6948 460 143, or, fixed land line: + 30 2810 39 12 86,  or over the generic mail address: press [AT] enisa.europa.eu. An e-mail request will be dealt with as fast as possible. Please note that the capacity to respond quickly however is limited.
