Although these technologies make our lives easier, they might impose security challenges. It is important to identify risks and to provide recommendations to mediate threats. However, data breaches do occur. Hence, it is essential to provide a notification framework.

Technology for Resilience

Our modern society depends on complex infrastructure in every day live. We study technologies for resilient networks, that means networks that provide and maintain an acceptable level of service in face of faults (unintentional, intentional, or naturally caused) affecting their normal operation.

Privacy and Trust

Privacy, freedom of expression and freedom of information are considered as basic rights are anchored within the EU legal framework. However certain aspects of protection of personal data are difficult to address and implement entirely. We study the challenges our society faces in this field.
